Hmm…just realised that title could mean something else if you really think about it…ooops!
I actually thought it was time to get organised with some seed planting for the Autumn vegetable garden on the weekend. The vegie patch needs a good weeding and lots of compost and organic matter dug through which we should have done in time for lots of new seedlings to be planted out.
The toddler twosome offered their ‘help'. I do love to see children outside getting messy and loving life though don't you?
Have to water your seeds and soil!
Of course we had to have a tray each!
I could spend all day here…..my little outdoor twin!

Yes, they did get very dirty….
Yes, they did tip out all the seeds and soil at one stage…..
Yes, it did take me ages to clean them both up before we could step back inside and lunch had yet to be made….
Yes, it is taking me a lot longer to plant seeds than i would like….
Yes, the chickens were ‘fed' the soil mix….
BUT….look at the concentration, the fun, the learning…the EXPERIENCE! Do you like to garden with young children?

Looks like fun, Jode. Yes, I do enjoy gardening with my children! Everything is more fun as a family, I think.

this looks fabulous!! two of my younger boys planted lettuce this fall….and when it came up..they could not believe it…they would just look at it and smile! i think I smiled very time I saw them smile!!!

The pictures really do speak for themselves Jode, although when I read the title I did think ‘No way…more twins on the way!” and was slightly relieved for you! The planting looks great fun and we can’t wait for the warmer weather to get out there and do some.

So cute. I remember when my girlies were that age, getting all messy!! Now their messes are even bigger!! lol This would make a great science experiment, though, so thank you for the idea.
Oh yes, we can’t wait for Spring to get here so we can start gardening. I’m planning a butterfly garden 🙂
